The calculator asks if the new role is better, same, or worse in five areas. You mark which of those actually matter to you. The weighted score combines money with the factors you care about — so if growth matters more than a $20,000 raise, the verdict reflects that.

The calculator reads your grant structure and surfaces leverage: underwater options suggest a repricing or RSU-swap ask, a cliff within 120 days suggests pushing your start date, unvested value over 25% of annual comp suggests a make-whole grant ask. The levers are deterministic rules, not guesses.
